There are three buildings, the Villa, Farmhouse and Limonaia all lovingly restored in 2006 after it was used as the set for the famous film "Under the Tuscan Sun" in 2003.

The Clines sold Villa Laura three years ago, but are now actively restoring the Villa Santa Croce just below Basilica di Santa Margherita that sits above Cortona. The current owners, David and Patrina Rothrock, are also Americans who stayed at Villa Laura when they were married at the town hall in Cortona (a popular place for weddings) in 2014.

Book your vacation for 2023 now. Villa Laura is the very villa used in the filming of Under the Tuscan Sun. It was used as the Bramasole because Frances Mayes' Bramasole had already been renovated and the Hollywood crew needed a ruin.
